
Dr. Gary C. Bernard
Dr. Bernard was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. He graduated from Meharry Medical College in 1992, earning his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. He continued his medical training at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, where he studied Family Medicine. He then pursued additional training in Internal Medicine at Brown University's Rhode Island Hospital.
Afterward, Dr. Bernard moved to Jacksonville to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville. Since 1999, he has been in private practice, providing Family and Internal Medicine services.
Dr. Bernard believes in treating every aspect of an individual's health, including physical illnesses, nutrition, injuries, chronic conditions, and overall well-being. He believes that a healthy body and mind are the foundation of lasting wellness, and this philosophy guides his approach to patient care.
